Sekake Malebanye is an Advocate who was conferred with the honour of King’s Counsel in 2012 by His Majesty. He received his BA Law degree in 1985 and LL.B degree in 1987 from the National University of Lesotho and was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court and the Court of Appeal of Lesotho in 1987. He briefly worked at the Civil Section of the Office of the Attorney General before venturing into private legal practice. His main field of practice are, but not limited to commercial law, labour law and family law. He has served on the disciplinary structures of SOS (1997-2001), the Lesotho Football Association (1995 – present) as well as on the Board of Directors of the Road Accident fund (2000 to 2011) and the Central Bank of Lesotho (2012 – 2018).
